MINATO ARISATO
It took about three seconds for Hinata to surgically attach himself to Minato's side, and the gimmick of joining an RPG party hasn't actually worn off in how he refers to Minato. There's absolutely no reason to keep calling the guy "Leader" after escaping the haunted house dungeon, but Hinata feels like doing it anyway so it probably won't stop anytime soon. While Minato is fairly reserved and lowkey, Hinata likes him a great deal and doesn't really mind when Minato doesn't react a lot. He's a funny guy if you pay attention!
JAMES BARNES
A sometimes-friend from school who teamed up with Hinata and Mafuyu for Ninja Warrior. For some reason he can't tell Mafuyu is Mafuyu if she wears a guy's wig, but James is pretty all right. Hinata's a little curious about the whole arm thing but isn't quite tactless enough to ask about it. So far.
MARINA HARTMANN
Another one of those people Hinata decided he liked instantly, Marina was open enough to share her first memory with him in their first conversation. They're debating starting a club for high school students on the network, and have since worked together to capture a turkey. Clearly this friendship is off to a great start!
LALLI HOTAKAINEN
A kind of reserved dude who invited Hinata to a Retrospec-exclusive guild for a popular MMORPG. While he's a little hard to get a read on, Hinata likes him perfectly fine anyway and will probably follow up with more nerd shenanigans later.
APOLLO JUSTICE
While Hinata absolutely enjoys teasing Apollo sometimes (about his age or being too serious) he actually really respects his tutor! He'll listen to Apollo if Apollo actually tells him to do things in all seriousness, and he actually likes him a lot, too. Apollo's an adult and authority figure, but Hinata would probably still call him a friend, too. He's looking forward to the after-finals party with hats and maybe fireworks?!
XIAOLANG LI
An old man in a little kid's body, but he's fun to tease and talk to!
CHIYO MATSUOKA
Easily one of Hinata's favorite people, Chiyo is willing to go along with his antics and games and is super sweet in addition. He's always happy to speak with her or play silly games, and he thinks she's really talented as an artist as well.
AMANDA MATTHEWS
One of his better friends, Amanda and Hinata share a tutor and a sense of reckless humor. They've done gymnastics together for years and Hinata's pretty fond of Amanda. He's informed her he'll let her get away with anything to make up for the fact she can't do that with her parents any longer as she's no longer the youngest. Although really, Hinata probably would have cheerfully let her do whatever anyway.
DAISUKE NIWA
A friend Hinata gets along well with! Daisuke's always fun to hang out with, but he's a little too willing to go along with things?! Stand up for yourself more, Daisuke!
RITSU SAKUMA
Lives in the same neighborhood, known for falling asleep everywhere...
KOTONE SONOZAKI
They share a Home Ec table together, and Kotone always keeps Hinata entertained. She's made Hinata promise to start using silly nicknames for some of their teachers, which he kept by calling Miles Edgeworth "Ice Princess" to his face.
MIO SONOZAKI
A nice girl who got caught up in one of Hinata's pranks once...oops. He took her out to waffles as an apology. She's Kotone's sister, but the two are pretty different, aren't they?
TSUKASA SUZAKURA
Good friend and co-worker! Tsukasa is kind of reserved but this has never once stopped Hinata from befriending a person ever. Really easy to drag into things.
OCHAKO URARAKA
A cheerful girl who likes sentai, which is actually what they originally bonded over. Hinata thinks she's fun!
ELIZABETH VELVETEEN
They've only spoken a few times, but Hinata likes Elizabeth a lot! For some reason he keeps using RPGspeak to approach Personas. Why this.
