I won't say they're perfectly harmless, as situations with animals can be unpredictable at times, however if you take the proper precautions, you'll lessen your chances of getting hurt. I wish people would understand that instead of simply decrying horses for being "vile" or... anything. [ ... ] I also wish that they would consider them "cool". Horses can do a lot of incredible things, after all... You can't really depend on chocobos strictly for things like farmwork, since they are still birds and do have a more delicate bone structure. Of course, it does vary on breed, but overall...
