when he was a kid it was super fun to take something harmless like a caterpillar and put it on his nose
he'd get so upset just the sight of anything similar like a piece of lint would send him into tears!!!!!!!

But it sounds like what you like about Noritan is the comfort that is brought, yes?

As for what I like about snakes, I like that their nature is to warn others of how poisonous and dangerous that they are. They cannot change what they are, but they attempt to warn of it. In their colors. In their actions. In the sounds that they make. The animal world knows that they're dangerous because of all the effort that they put into letting themselves be known.

Yet even so, they're true to themselves. Because that is how nature made them. They are not evil, because it is how they are. And so, that makes them good.
